Here a just a few questions I get asked on a regular basis.

(Q) How long have you been doing weddings?

(A) I have been photographing/videoing weddings for 15 years.

(Q) What equipment do you use?

(A) I have 4 main cameras 3 x Sonys and 1 x Panasonic Lumix. and a serious of top-grade lenses. In addition a variety other equipment like wireless triggers, a DJI gimbal for video work, Go Pro (video), Mavic Air drone and various other equipment.

(Q) Do you arrange to meet your clients?

(A) With todays technology couples now find it much more convenient and comfortable to arrange a video call or zoom meeting online if they feel there is a need too. If not I am in regular contact via messenger, email, WhatsApp etc..leading up to the big day

(Q) How will you photograph/video our wedding?

(A) Each wedding has its own unique style and way of shooting. There are many things to consider like location, lighting, and the weather, etc. However, I have my own format for coverage which I discuss with every couple to ensure it is what they want. This will allow me to give my best on the day. It is all about capturing the fun, laughter and the magic of the day.

(Q) How many photos will we have and when will we get to see them or our video?

(A) I aim to have your photos and videos ready for viewing as soon as possible—typically within a few weeks. However, as a general guideline, I advise allowing around 4 to 8 weeks. As you can appreciate, a significant amount of work goes into editing both photos and videos, especially during the peak wedding season in the summer months. The turnaround time may be shorter or longer depending on my workload or that of my associates, particularly during busy periods. You will receive between 200 and 500 images, viewable via an online gallery. The exact number depends on the package you choose and the type of coverage on the day—factors such as the weather, time of year, location, and how much time we spend with you and your guests all play a role. Once your images are ready, you’ll receive a secure online gallery link via email. From there, you’ll be able to view the images privately or share them with family and friends if you wish. Then depending on which package you have you will get a link to either download them or you will receive them on an USB.

(Q) If I have a videography package how when do I get the videos and how long are they

(A) Video editing takes considerably longer, as all editing is done in-house. The typical turnaround time for receiving your final videos is between 10 to 12 weeks, though this may vary depending on the time of year and current workload.
You will receive the following:
-
A highlights video, which typically runs between 10 to 12 minutes and includes backing music
-
A full video of the ceremony
-
A full video of the speeches
The highlights video is primarily filmed in a documentary style, captured in small segments throughout the day—from bridal preparations to the first dance. As mentioned, the final length of this video will depend on several factors, including:
-
Location
-
Size of the venue
-
Number of guests
-
Weather conditions on the day
-
The amount of time we are able to spend with you
Please note: By law, we are not permitted to film or photograph the actual signing of the register, so this part will be excluded. However, in some cases, a mock signing may be arranged if allowed by the venue.
For further details, please refer to my full terms and conditions.

(Q) Do you supply or sell Video RAW footage Or Raw Photos.

(A) We do not sell or supply the RAW video footage or photos shot at your wedding for a variety of reasons. For example due to the very large file sizes which can run into many gigabytes. In addition un-edited video footage is not suitable for viewing as it requires professional editing and colour grading before final output. We only supply your videos and photos that have been professionally corrected and colour graded to provide the best quality results.

(Q) If we have an album when will we receive it and how do I choose the photos for it

(A) A typical 40-page album usually works best with around 90 to 120 of your favourite images, allowing them to be displayed beautifully across the pages. I’ll design the album for you using the ideal number of photos to create a balanced and visually pleasing layout. Once the initial design is ready, you’re welcome to keep the images I’ve selected, or swap any of them for your own favourites. Just let me know the image numbers you'd like to change, and I’ll take care of the rest. You will, of course, receive all the photos from your wedding day as shown in your gallery when you collect the album. This will usually be between 200 and 500 images, depending on your chosen package and the type and length of coverage on the day.
Once your album has been ordered, it goes through a careful production process and is crafted to a high standard. This usually takes around 2 to 3 weeks from the time you approve and finalise the design to when it is delivered to me.
As soon as your album arrives, I’ll let you know—and we can then arrange a convenient time for you to come and collect it.

(Q) Can I share my photos on Facebook and social media?

(A) Of course yes. Although I do recommend adding a watermark and resizing the images first. Facebook does heavily compress uploaded images which can make the quality look poor online. I do offer to do this for my clients for a small £30 charge so the images look the best they can. If you are having a wedding video and wish to share it online then you will need a short trailer video producing using copyright/royalty free music . This will need to be arranged with you if required.

(Q) What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

(A) Unfortunately, the weather is something we can not control. However, I do take steps just in case which I discuss with clients in advance so we are all prepared.

(Q) How do we book you and what are the payment terms?

(A) Once you are happy with your package option I will immediately book your date on my professional booking system. You will then receive a direct email link to your personal online booking form which will need completing to secure the date. This will also include your package information, quotation, and relevant terms and conditions. You simply fill in all the details as required and make pay the booking fee which is £100. The booking fee can be paid by debit or credit card. Or you can do it by bank transfer. This payment is automatically deducted from you final balance. Please note the final balance is due two weeks before the actual wedding date and payable by bank transfer.
