About Pete Davis and his Wedding Photography
About Pete

I’ve been photographing weddings for over 20 years, and I still love every bit of it — the people, the energy, and the little moments that make your day truly yours. My style is calm, friendly, and just organised enough to keep everything flowing smoothly, so you can relax and enjoy the moment. I like to focus on capturing the laughs, real emotions, and everything in between. Most couples tell me they hardly notice I’m there… until they see their photos and relive the whole day all over again.

Outside of weddings, I love being outdoors, going on long walks with my partner Helen and my best friend — our beautiful dog Bertie (who, by the way, takes his sniffing very seriously 😄). I also have an unusual hobby: roasting my own coffee beans, which is a bit of a smelly process but good fun and tastes great. It takes time and attention, but as they say, all good things are worth the wait. This is how I like to approach photographing a wedding day too.

How I Photograph a Wedding Day
This is a short video of me and how I photograph a wedding day as it unfolds
At the end of the video, there are sample images from several weddings I have had the honor of photographing. PLEASE NOTE: If you are viewing directly on Youtube please watch in 1080p HD for better quality video. This can easily be done by simply changing the settings after pressing the little cog symbol in the bottom right corner of the video.
